Jess Kirby tells us she’s gearing up for the season ahead by

Your style is on the classic side—how do integrate
this into your approach to fall dressing?

I love sticking to neutral basics I can wear over and over
again. I picked up these Splendid pieces because they can be
seamlessly incorporated into my existing wardrobe. I’ll always
say yes to a beige duster.

Are you into plaid or animal print for fall?
Why? 

I’m a fan of both, but I love this pared-down plaid cardigan
for fall. It’s neutral enough to wear so many ways, and it can
easily be dressed up or down.

Where do you see yourself wearing these soft, cozy
outfits? 

The best thing about these pieces is you can wear them pretty
much anywhere. I’d throw on the leggings and cashmere cardigan
with sneakers to walk the dogs, or dress it up with booties for
dinner in town.

If you had to describe your ideal cozy day, what would
it entail?

An early morning beach walk with the dogs, a big breakfast at
home, and then curling up on the couch with the dogs for a Netflix
marathon.
