Anna Wintour Says This Is the #1 Accessory of Fall 2019

It’s that time of year when retailers are shoving all their new
fall pieces down your throat and the options can be overwhelming,
to say the least. If you’re pondering which pieces are truly worth
the investment for the new season, allow Anna Wintour to help.
In the newest video for her “Go Ask Anna” series, Wintour was
asked what she thinks is the accessory of the season, and she was
quick to reply.

“The accessory of the season has to be the boot,” Wintour says
in the video. “Short boots, long boots, mid-calf boots, any kind of
boots. Suede, leather, canvas, printed, plain—it’s your choice.”
So there you have it: Boots should be the #1 accessory you spend
your money on for fall. Of course, Wintour herself is a huge
proponent of boots and wears them to all the shows in the
winter.

Speaking of fashion week, Wintour also was asked in the video if
it’s as glamorous as it seems. “Fashion week, fashion month,
fashion year is a lot of work, but the minute you see a great show,
you see new talent, or a wonderful new model, everything becomes
