Kate Middleton’s Zara Culottes Are So Much Cooler Than Skinny Jeans

September has proven to be a big month for the British royal
family. Last week, Meghan Markle revealed the Smart
Works capsule
collection she helped design, and next week, she and Prince
Harry will embark on a tour of South Africa. (Stay tuned for my
coverage right here.) As for Kate Middleton, today she stepped out
to meet nurses working with the Sunshine House Children and Young
People’s
Health and Development Centre in London.

For the occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge went for a low-key
look consisting of an Equipment blouse, Zara culottes, and Gianvito
Rossi heels. We’re particularly in love with her wide-leg pants, as
they’re a fresh change from her signature dresses yet still dressy
enough for an official royal engagement. Leave it to Middleton to
make Zara look royalty-worthy yet totally approachable and real.
