Whenever I’m looking for some fresh shopping inspiration, I
often turn to fashion insiders to see what they’re wearing. The
outfit photos they’re posting frequently lead me to make
purchases of my own and turn me on to brands
I didn’t know about
or pieces that are new to me. When it
comes to tracking down the best affordable fashion items, a scroll
through Instagram is always a place I start.

Ahead, I’m highlighting some of my recent fashion discoveries
that are all priced under $300—and begin at just $45. From the
cow-print corset I’ve been eyeing for months and the two-tone
boots that just dropped at H&M to the one-shoulder knit
that’s perfect for fall and the expensive-looking
bag that’s only $70, these are the new affordable fashion items
worth putting on your radar. Go on to shop my edit here.

As we head into fall I’m stocking back up on knits, and this
off-the-shoulder sweater from LPA is topping my wish list.

H&M just debuted its latest studio collection. While it’s
stocked with a range of cool pieces, these boots are the best buy
and are sure to sell out fast.

Cow-print pieces have been huge this season, and Miaou’s corset
top is my favorite iteration. For fall, I would wear this tucked
into high-waisted trousers with a tailored trench coat.

With a luxe faux-croc finish, this Charles & Keith bag looks
expensive but is priced at just $70. Plus, it comes in a range of
colors ranging from traditional earthy fall shades to pastels.

Trench coats are getting a makeover for the season ahead.
Instead of classic versions, we’ll be seeing updated takes like
this vinyl version that has swept the internet.

Every season there seems to be a new take on suiting, and I’m
particularly excited to wear some of the bold colors we’re seeing
more of right now, like this rich berry tone.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned in 2019, it’s that everyone
needs to own a great jumpsuit.

Back in July, we predicted that
Staud’s moon bag would be everywhere
, and it has certainly
delivered. Priced at $295, this circular tote is a great
investment for fall that comes with a reasonable price tag.

The moment I spotted Who What Wear’s editor in chief, Kat
Collings, wearing this jacket at the office, I knew I needed to
order one for myself.
