Jennifer Lawrence’s Sneakers Are From the ’80s But Are Still Popular on Amazon

Jennifer Lawrence loves a good pair of white sneakers. And
while usually it’s her beloved Dior
sneakers that go where she goes, lately she’s been wearing a
pair that’s just as cool but decidedly more affordable (as in $60
on Amazon, believe it or not). While out shopping in New York this
week, Lawrence classic Reebok Freestyle Hi sneakers, which were
first released in 1982. In fact, they were one of the first
sneakers designed and marketed for women, according to
High Snobiety, as it was the height of the aerobics craze. But
back to JLaw.

Last time she was spotted wearing the sneakers it was with
leggings but this time, she opted for a simple printed midi dress
and a very fall-friendly burnout velvet bag with a chain strap,
proving that the shoes have versatility in spades. Not only that,
they’re in keeping with the retro sneaker
trend that’s sweeping the fashion world right now.
